Hands-On Internships Available at America’s Packard Museum
America’s Packard Museum has exciting and challenging temporary, part-time, unpaid internships available. These positions are under the supervision of the Curator with additional oversite by other members of the staff. The interns are responsible for assisting in the essential functions of maintaining and improving the facility, collections, exhibits, and educational and outreach activities. The internships are great learning opportunities!
A lack of skilled labor means demand is outstripping supply for future classic car restorations, and some car enthusiasts are waiting three years for work to begin on their vehicles. Lack of trained technicians directly affects the Museum’s ability to find and recruit staff to maintain the vehicles in museum-quality condition.
