America’s Packard Museum received a $2,000 Greenlight Grant from The Dayton Foundation to install period-correct and environmentally efficient exterior pendant lights in our Franklin Street parking to improve public safety. Completion of the grant will be a major step in fulfilling an ongoing, comprehensive preservation plan that addresses physical improvements, environmental impact, and growth for the educational mission of the Museum.
This project was funded by a grant from the Dr. Khurshid Ahmad Charitable Fund of The Dayton Foundation. For over 100 years, The Dayton Foundation has been the trusted charitable giving resource for more than 4,100 individuals, families and organizations. As the largest grantmaker and community foundation in Greater Dayton, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.4 billion in grants since its founding in 1921, with nearly $109 million awarded last fiscal year.
